Living in America is expensive, you have to pay for every little thing. In other countries, they do get paid less, but the cost of living is low and can be accomadating. Finding affordable home, or a place to stay is not that difficult. Plus, the United States is the only developed country that the citizens have to pay for healthcare, which the healthcare in the U.S. is expensive. While the cost of living goes higher, the pay doesn\\\'t. we havent had an increase in the minimum wage in years. \\r\\nI would like to know something, why is it when theirs fault in the U.S. everyone is so quickly point out that the developing countries have it much worse, we all know that, thats why they are called \\\"developing countries\\\" but why can we categorize ourselves to other well developed nations, I hope u don\\\'t think the U.S. is the only \\\"wealthy country\\\" in the world. And actually, FYI the U.S. is no longer the wealthiest.\\r\\n\\r\\nAnd if she did have \\\"high expectations\\\" is only because we always hear since birth that our country is the best, people want to come here, we are so prosperous, we are better, we have freedom,, blah blah.. thats why. that delusion of achieving the american dream, is a bit of a joke, if you are a female, hispanic, black, disable, and not in the priveledge category.
