Plot summary
This story, told as if it is an old urban legend, is about a boy (Jefferey Lionel Magee) who's parents are killed in a P&W trolley accident. He spends the next eight years in the bizarre household of his Aunt Dot and Uncle Dan who have lost the spark of their relationship. One night during the school musical, Jefferey runs away. Jeffery spend the rest of his time in Two Mills. Making friends and learning about the segregation of his time.
