Richard Branson is and entrepreneur who built the Virgin Group and has built a net worth of approximately $2.5 billion USD. Branson's autobiography Losing My Virginity: How I've Survived, Had Fun, and Made a Fortune Doing Business My Way shares his story. Branson started a magazine called The Student at the age of 16 when he dropped out of school. The Student soon became a mail-order record business which then transformed into the Virgin Record chain or music stores. Richard then created a record label which he sold to EMI for $1 billions dollars.
Branson now runs businesses in the the airline industry, mobile phone, e-commerce, soda, and myriad other businesses in many other industries.
Outside of business Branson has broken several world records. He holds the world record for the fastest time crossing the Atlantic Ocean by sailboat. He also rode in the first hot air ballooon to cross the Atlantic.
